Dr. Sharon Vila-Wright, MD

A native of Puerto Rico, Dr Sharon Vila-Wright grew up in Florida and graduated from Rice University with a Bachelor of Arts in biology. After earning her medical degree at Wake Forest School of Medicine, she completed an internship in general surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Reading Hospital and Medical Center in Pennsylvania.

Dr. Vila-Wright, who is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, has been in practice since 2009. In addition to general obstetrics and gynecology, her special clinical interests include minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery and providing a positive and memorable pregnancy experience. She is fluent in Spanish.

She believes that taking care of patients is an honor and privilege and that trust and compassion are key aspects of the doctor-patient relationship. Her patients say she is thorough, patient and easy to talk to. She makes them feel comfortable, listens to concerns and answers questions thoroughly.
